This site, based on Loren Pope’s popular Colleges That Change Lives, is a leading advocate on the subject of higher education access and college choice. CTCL prioritizes schools that give students a personalized and transformative collegiate experience. The site has useful articles about the college application and admission process and highlights CTCL schools.
Established in March, 2004, The Education Conservancy (EC) is a non-profit organization committed to improving college admission processes for students, colleges, and high schools. By harnessing the research, ideas, leadership, and imagination of thoughtful educators, EC delivers appropriate advice, advocacy, and support.
The National Association for College Admission Counseling (NACAC) is an organization of nearly 16,000 professionals from around the world dedicated to serving students as they make choices about pursuing postsecondary education. NACAC offers tips for college prep, a college search engine, advice about applications, and info about paying for college and succeeding in college. In addition, NACAC organizes college fairs.
