Clinton has a long history of supporting a diverse group of learners. Our Special Education Department is referred to as the Instruction Support Services Team at Clinton.
We believe that access to rich curriculum is the right of every student. Our students with instructional support services are expected to earn a Regents diploma and encouraged to consider which IB path is right for them. To be clear, all students are in the IB program. We see our job as supporting all students as they determine their best fit for an IB challenge, whether it's 1 or 2 certificates or the full IB Diploma - or somewhere in between.
We have a robust co-teaching program that is supportive of students from grades 6 - 12 in core content. As an IB school, we have also made it a priority to provide co-teaching for students in Spanish courses.
Starting in school year 2021-22, we partnered with P94. You may have heard such program referred to as a "D75 program," however we refer to is as our "Shared Instruction Program." Our shared students are Clintonians, and the staff of P94 have been amazing colleagues to work with the past 2 years.
