The PA relies on each family to give to the school whether by donating money and/or volunteering time. Fundraisers include our Annual Auction, other community events, and Spirit Wear Merchandise Sales.
Membership/Meetings
There are two types of PA meetings: General Meetings and Executive Board Meetings.
PA General Meetings are held monthly. Please check the calendar for more details. All parents or legal guardians of currently enrolled students are PA members and are encouraged to attend meetings. All PA members are eligible to vote on motions brought to the floor at General Meetings.
PA Executive Board Meetings are also held monthly. Executive Board members are allowed to vote on issues at these meetings. The PA Executive Board consists of parents who are elected by the PA to represent their needs and interface more directly with the school administration.
PA Budget
Each year, the Executive Board reviews the PA’s expenses from the previous school year, determines the anticipated expenses for the upcoming school year, and meets with the Principal to incorporate costs not allotted to the school by the Department of Education. This budget is then presented to our general membership for a vote to approve. Our budget will be shared during our monthly PA General Meetings with Clinton PA members.
Volunteer
The most important thing you can do is to be involved: Volunteer your time. Come to meetings. Give us your thoughts. Jump in and help. Ask questions. Donate what you can. Everyone is busy, but please find a little time to help contribute to your child’s educational experience. It’s a wonderful investment that will produce lasting and rewarding benefits. There are many opportunities to volunteer throughout the year, from leading an event like the Sports Award Dinner to helping with the Annual Auction or student dances and more. Any support is appreciated. If you have an idea for a fundraiser or other ways to make our school better, please let us know. We would love to hear your ideas!
